Creative Team

Jean Buckley - Producer

Jean has been an active member of the Winton Club for thirteen years. Over that time, she has served on many of the Cabaret committees, including being Chair and Co-Chair for the Scenery and the Costume Committees, as well as Editor of the Program Book. Jean has also been a Buyer for the Winton Club Gift Shop located in the Winchester Hospital’s main lobby. The Gift Shop and the Cabaret combine their proceeds for an annual donation to Winchester Hospital. This year the donation will be dedicated to the Healing Garden at the new Cancer Center.

Raised in nearby Belmont, Jean took her college degree in Interior Design from UMass Amherst, and started her professional career in large Boston and Cambridge architectural design firms. Jean moved to Winchester to an early (c.1873) residence with her architect husband David. In 1998, Jean and David started their own architectural and interior design firm specializing in healthcare, commercial and residential designs. David has volunteered on the Stage Crew, working with a number of other Winton Club husbands, building scenery and props for the Cabaret shows.

Honored to be asked to Chair and Produce the 2012 Winton Club Cabaret, Jean has been hard at work on the show since November of last year. The familiar theme “It’s About Time” extends to more enduring concepts of the world we live in, and the people we love. This year also marks a special Time for Winchester Hospital as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of its founding in 1912.

Now, through song and dance, and with the help of many volunteers and entertainment professionals, the Winton Club is pleased to present a performance that brings a fresh focus on how precious “Time” is to each one of us.  It’s About Time.
