Over the years, the club has donated over 3 million dollars to Winchester Hospital and the Center for Cancer Care.
Cheryl passionately articulates, “Winchester, and particularly Winchester Hospital, has a special place in my heart. My niece was born pre-maturely at Winchester Hospital, and was cared for in the Special Care Nursery for several weeks before she was strong enough to go home. All the care that was needed for her was present at Winchester Hospital. That was a gift to us. She is a thriving 21-year old now. My mission is to give back to Winchester Hospital so that it can continue to provide world-class care in our wonderful town.”
Since she was asked to chair the 2014 Cabaret production last February, Cheryl has been hard at work on the show. “It is truly a labor of love”, she says. This year’s upbeat and fun show, “ROCK THE HOUSE”, will take you on a rock-n-roll journey that will leave you tapping your toes and singing the songs long after the final curtain. Please join us in January as we “ROCK THE HOUSE” to benefit Winchester Hospital.
All profits from “ROCK THE HOUSE” help to support Winchester Hospital and their ongoing dedication to health and community. The cast of talented performers includes staff members from Winchester Hospital, performers from local community theater groups, local professional entertainers, and a core of enthusiastic supporters of Winchester Hospital who will spend all of January preparing for this fundraiser.
“ROCK THE HOUSE” show dates are January 28 - February 1, 2014 at the Winchester Town Hall Auditorium on 71 Mt. Vernon St. Auditions will be held December 2 & 3, 2013 at 7 PM at Winchester Town Hall Auditorium.
